Kara & Barry were involved in large retail operations until 1991 when they sold out and moved to Mahone Bay. They purchased the old Maders Hardware Store & started producing folk art in 1997. In 2003, they sold their business in Mahone Bay and moved to Martin's Point where they started producing folk art (whirligigs) full time. They do a lot of custom work and have recently started making a line of originally designed and custom birdhouses.

Their retail store is open 7 days a week from May 1st until September 30th and nice weekends in October or by appointment. Their online store is available year round.
