I studied Ceramics at Georgian College in Barrie, Ontario from 1978 until 1981. since then I have been a fulltime studio potter.

Excellent craftsmanship, a love for textural decoration and the potential of clay have always been for most in my mind. I believe in developing an infallible technique then allowing inspiration to complete the process of creation.

When I opened my first studio in 1981 it was mostly production pottery, platters, bowls, teapots, mugs etc. I also enjoyed exploring the potential of clay, these explorations have resulted in many one of a kind sculptures for home and garden.

Clay is the most common material in the world, you dig it from the ground and make beautiful things with it. It will always hold fascination for me, I will push to see how far I can take it. I will struggle with disappointments and enjoy successes.
