I am a self taught fine artist with an eclectic style. My artistic career began with theatre backdrops, gaining recognition with awards from the Central Ontario Festival "for excellence in design and decor" in the musical stage productions of Oklahoma, Lion in Winter, Brigadoon and others.Using photographs taken on extensive travel, my focus has been on landscape/seascape and wildlife and my work has been accepted in numerous juried shows. Recently, I have adapted other forms of art - folk art, encaustic (honeybee wax) and needle felted landscape/seascapes - in my own style.
